Praise for our Proubasta

"Crappy" doesn't begin to describe Falkenberg's journalistic abilities; worse yet is her biased presentation of the case, as if those of us who oppose Fusco are evil puppy killers. Sadly, my letters concerning BARC don't make it to print at the Chronicle. But yesterday's ridiculous (but damaging) column forces my hand try yet again.

Sad to learn about Annise's wrong leanings; who does that leave us with? I'm told she is the only one who gives a damn about BARC.

Glad to know we are on the same side of the issue; as a long-time fighter for the animal cause you have the knowledge and credibility I lack. But I do have passion. Let's keep after them. -- Dolores

THANK GOD FOR YOU!

We need more letters like yours.

It is important that council and media understand that the people that are expressing strong support for Fusco as the same people that have always denied that there were problems at BARC or have flip-flopped back and forth dramatically. There are also people with financial interests in BARC and maintaining good relationships with the city including other shelter directors. One woman that spoke in support of the contract at city council makes and tries to sell dog beds to shelters and has met with Annise Parker about forming a non-profit to take over ownership of BARC should Parker be elected mayor. Unfortunately for the animals at BARC, a crappy writer like Lisa Falkenberg, does not take the time to understand the dynamics involved or to ask questions of anyone that she receives information from.
