I have been a Walgreens' customer for a long time. No more. I only wish I had known sooner that money spent in your stores goes to support scientifically questionable and ethically intolerable animal experiments.

Most people don't condone savagery such as an experiment conducted by the Walgreens-funded American Heart Association, which involves causing strokes in primates --your and my close relatives-- by removing their left eyes and placing a clamp on a critical blood vessel through the empty eye sockets. This atrocity has been committed for more than 50 years, failing to produce effective human treatments.

As long as Walgreens executives remain stuck on the archaic, devil-may-care attitude about laboratolry animals, pursuing an extremely unethical corporate giving policy, I will discourage everyone I know from using your store. You are helping no one by financing cruelty; not even your own image or bottomline.
