There's so much wrong about China, it's hard to know where to begin. But not as much wrong with China that with the imbecile nations that make their takeover imminent, as my grandpapa, Felipe Proubasta, predicted they would in a visionary editorial as president of the Royal Spanish Academy of Medicine, back in 1900. Let me give you an example close to my heart:
China's rabies control consists of clubbing, hanging, and poisoning stray dogs and cats (those that are not sold in hellish meat markets, that is). These periodic pogroms take place in the streets. Chinese people learned back in Tiananmen that resistance is futile and they go on about their business. Now, guess who the world's main, practically exclusive, manufacturer of dog and cat toys, accessories, and treats is, China. Is this a beautiful irony or what!?
It gets funnier: USA, a country where animal cruelty is against the law, and generally regarded with contempt, is the main customer of that crap (all Chinese stuff is crap) into the billions annually, while blithely ignoring that "animal cruelty" is a way of life in China. Go to PetsMart or to any pet store and try to find one toy, comb, or chicken strip not made in China.
Oh, by the way, China continues to have 2500 human deaths due to rabies every year (probably as many more go unreported), despite the massive killings. They use their savage method of rabies "control" rather than paying for the vaccines the west produces and which have all but eliminated rabies in domestic animals, even feral ones.
And we, the USA, made it all possible and still there is no collective realization that this MO can't continue without relinquishing not just our economy but our freedom by being totally dependent on Chinese supplies of everyday needs. Thank you WalMart! Aren't you glad you cc me?
XOXOXO -- Dolores
PS: Coming up soon: Generic pharmaceuticals (the only ones we will have access to) made in China. Many already are, with possibly dire health consequences.
