A significant number of us in Houston are single issue voters, namely: Animal Welfare. Please ask mayoral candidates the following Q on Sunday 6 December:
BARC has been the shame of Houston for a long time. Mayor White's administration has shown no interest in the issue, and the stopgap "agent-of-change" solution is like a band-aid to cancer. What three immediate independent (from each other) steps will you take toward bringing BARC up to the high quality of care that homeless--often abused and sick--animals deserve, and Houston animal advocates demand?
