A question for the candidates

This is what I just submitted (Oct 23) to KHOU as a possible Q to the mayoral candidates.

 

"Some areas of Houston, notably the Corridor of Cruelty, are like the world's worse slums concerning animals. If elected, how will you (a) help Corridor animals immediately, (b) stop further animal dumping and dog fighting there, and (c) prevent Corridor conditions from developing elsewhere in the city?"

I realize that we will be lucky if they select so much as ONE question concerning animals. But we should try. It is time the "Animal Cartel" be heard ... no more suffering in silence, like those we speak for.
